Chris Pine reminds us he’s not Hemsworth, Evans, or Pratt in ‘SNL’ monologue

It’s good to be a “scruffy and squinty and jacked, but in a sweet way” guy named Chris who acts in movies.

But apparently not if you don’t want to be confused with the other scruffy, beefy guys named Chris who act in movies.

Chris Pine, tonight’s Saturday Night Live host, used his monologue as an opportunity to differentiate himself from Hemsworth, Evans, and Pratt.

He did a song and dance to the tune of “Uptown Girl.” (Who knew Chris Pine had pipes?!)

He used visual aids.

But he ultimately came to the conclusion that, yeah, they are actually pretty indistinguishable. Still hot, though! ec28 39a5%2fthumb%2f00001

‘SNL’ pokes at a ‘missing’ Kellyanne Conway in Carmen Sandiego tribute

After a few media missteps, the once ubiquitous Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway has all but vanished from TV.

So Saturday Night Live tasked a couple of precocious young children with answering the question, “Where in the World Is Kellyanne Conway?”

“She hasn’t been seen in weeks; no one knows where she is or what she’s up to,” Sasheer Zamata opened as the iconic Chief, Lynne Thigpen.

And the Carmen Sandiego sendup was complete with Rockapella, featuring Chris Pine.

But the game show didn’t even make it to the first clue.

“We don’t wanna find her,” one of the contestants said.

That makes all of us, kid.

Conor McGregor Says He’ll Make $100 Million in Mayweather Fight

Conor McGregor I’ll Make $100 Million in Mayweather Fight

4/20/2017 11:02 AM PDT

Breaking News

Conor McGregor believes he’ll walk away with more than $100 MILLION after his fight with Floyd Mayweather … and says Dana White was just being conservative with his $75 million prediction.

White told us earlier this week he believes McGregor vs. Mayweather WILL happen — and told Colin Cowherd that Conor should make around $75 mil and Floyd will get around $100 mil.

But Conor just weighed in on social media saying White’s numbers are low.

“How’s that 75milli make your stomach feel? It’s actually 100+ milli if we go by the non conservative numbers the fight will actually do and that’s not including my endorsements and business ventures.”

He added, “28 years of age. Fresh c*nt. Doubt me now.”

Remember, back in November, Conor called his shot — saying he wanted $100 million for the fight.

Ask, and you might receive …

There’s more … Conor also released some footage of him giving boxing advice to one of his proteges.

He explained that he’s been focused on boxing lately but “make no mistakes, the kicking and grappling aspects, and everything else got to do with unlimited free fighting, is still very much present in my thoughts.”

He also suggests that if Floyd bails on their superfight, he could convince Manny Pacquiao to take his place.

“Floyd may crap his jocks after all and if so I will go back to true fighting or just pick another boxer like manny or something. But whatever that’s another conversation.”

It’s been a busy week for the pregnant mama — a few days back she was out running errands with Blue Ivy … looking ready to pop.

Colin Kaepernick Hits Chris Brown Concert In NYC … with Boxing Star

Breaking News

So many questions …

Colin Kaepernick turned up in Brooklyn, NY on Monday — hanging at the Chris Brown concert at the Barclays Center where he posed for a photo with boxing star Adrien Broner.

Kaep and Chris Brown have been friends for a while — the singer was a big supporter of Colin’s national anthem protest and his ‘Know Your Rights Camp’ campaign. They posed for a pic together back in January.

Unclear how Broner got facetime with Colin — it’s possible he just asked for a quick selfie.

The other question … what’s Kaep doing in NYC?

His girlfriend, Nessa, is a top DJ at Hot 97 in New York (and she’s also friendly with Chris Brown).

The other theory is Colin is perhaps talking to an East Coast team looking for some QB help — aka the Jets.

As for the concert, we’re told it was lit … a bunch of stars were there including Fabolous, ASAP Ferg, Young Ma, Lil Kim, Cam’ron and more.

Parker outpoints Conjanu to retain WBO title for first time

07/05/2017 07:31

WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (23-0, 18 KOs) successfully defended his title for the first time with a one-sided 12 round unanimous decision over Romanian challenger Razvan Cojanu (16-3, 9 KOs) on Saturday night at the Sparks Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

Parker landed blow after blow and dominated the entire fight, but was unable to land the KO punch against his former sparring partner.

The New Zealander won by scores of 119-108 and 117-110 twice.

Cojanu, who took the fight on two week’s notice after Parker’s original opponent Hughie Fury pulled out with an injury, did not offer much offence as he was in survival mode throughout the bout. He was deducted a point in the 4th round for holding Parker repeatedly.

This fight was possibly Parker’s last on home soil as he is now set for lucrative fights in the UK or US.

Canelo outclasses Chavez Jr in one-sided points win, Golovkin next on September 16

07/05/2017 07:37

Two-weight world champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (50-3-1, 32 KOs) in an all-Mexican super middleweight grudge match by a one-sided points decision on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Canelo dominated and outclassed Chavez, and all three judges scored the fight a shutout 120-108.

The 26-year-old Canelo connected with jabs and hard combinations in the early rounds while Chavez, 31, was limited to following him around and throwing one punch at a time.

As the fight progressed, Canelo began punishing Chavez, whose left eye began to swell and close in the seventh round.

For the remainder of the fight, Canelo continued to win the rounds against Chavez, who showed his toughness but had no answers and took a one-sided beating.

After the fight, WBC, WBA, IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) entered the ring and it was announced that Golovkin and Canelo, the biggest fight in boxing, will meet on September 16, Mexican Independence Day weekend.

“Tonight, I showed I could move, I could box, I showed as a fighter I can do all things,” said Canelo. “I thought I was going to showcase myself as a fighter that could throw punches, but he just wouldn’t do it. I’ve shown I can do lots of things in the ring, anything a fighter brings, I’ve shown I can showcase myself.

“GGG, you are next, my friend. The fight is done. I’ve never feared anyone, since I was 16 fighting as a professional. When I was born, fear was gone.”

Golovkin said: “I feel very excited.

“I’m ready. Tonight, first congrats to Canelo and his team. Right now, I think everyone is excited for September. Canelo looked very good tonight, and 100 percent he is the biggest challenge of my career. Good luck to Canelo in September.”

Mike Huckabee’s Cinco de Mayo Tweet About Salsa and Speedy Gonzales

Mike Huckabee Cinco de Mayo Plan Salsa and Speedy Gonzales

5/5/2017 7:31 AM PDT

Mike Huckabee has a Cinco de Mayo plan that has people hotter than a bottle of Tapatio.

The former Arkansas Guv said on Twitter he’s celebrating the day by downing “an entire jar of hot salsa and watching old Speedy Gonzales cartoons and speak[ing] Spanish all day.”

It took about a second for a torrent of hate to be directed Huckabee’s way. One person wrote, “Your attempts at humor fail almost as miserably as your attempts to run for President.”

Another person wrote, “Everywhere you go you should wish everyone a blessed day in Spanish by saying ‘Soy Pendejo'” … translation … I’m an idiot.

Warriors Coach Mike Brown Laughs Hysterically At Lonzo’s $500 Shoe

Breaking News

It’s safe to say Mike Brown will NOT be shelling out $500 for Lonzo Ball‘s sneakers.

The Golden State Warriors assistant coach was asked about the ex-UCLA star’s debut ZO2 shoes before Thursday night’s win over the Jazz … and his reaction is absolutely priceless.

The reporter asks: “Would you buy your kids a pair of shoes for $500 from an unproven NBA player after college?”

Brown lets out a great laugh before shooting down the idea. And he’s not alone … Shaq also scoffed at the expensive kicks on Twitter, saying “Real Big Baller Brands don’t over charge kids for shoes.”

Lonzo’s dad, Lavar, responded to the haters on Twitter last night, saying “Big Baller’s loose! If you can’t afford the ZO2’S, you’re NOT a BIG BALLER!”
