Colbert Torches Trump’s Confused ‘Plan To Plan To Have A Plan’ For Coronavirus

Or, as the “Late Show” host put it, a “plan to plan to have a plan to do stuff.”

Trump on Tuesday announced a series of proposals, including tax cuts and sick leave. He also claimed his approach to the virus and the economic crash is “really working out” and promised that “a lot of good things are going to happen.”

“Really?” Colbert shot back in disbelief. “Cuz that’s what I kept telling myself about you, and three years in, no good things have happened.”

‘You’re A Monster!’ Colbert Puts ‘Idiot’ Trump On Notice Over Coronavirus Tweets

Stephen Colbert called out President Donald Trump for comparing the COVID-19 coronavirus infections to the flu.

Trump on Monday complained that the flu leads to more illness and death, but “nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on.”

Trump finished with a “think about that!” and so the “Late Show” host did.

“OK, let me think about that,” he said. “You’re a monster.”

The audience cheered.

“Here’s the thing: We can criticize Trump’s golfing and tweeting,” he said. “But when he hunkers down and focuses on the problem, that’s when he really sucks.”

Then he offered some examples from the recent headlines:

Blue Ivy Shyly Meets LeBron James, And It’s All-Star-Level Adorable

Blue Ivy hails from music royalty, but meeting the King of basketball Sunday had her looking up in awe.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s oldest child was caught on video asking LeBron James for an autographed ball after his Lakers beat the rival Clippers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. (See the clip below.)

In video posted by ESPN, the 8-year-old appears shy at first as her father tells her she’ll have to make the request on her own.

Finally Blue Ivy musters up the courage to ask, and James answers, “You want a ball from me? OK, I got you,” promising to have the ball delivered by the time Blue Ivy gets out of school on Monday.

Blue Ivy has already won a Soul Train Award for helping her mother write “Brown Skin Girl.” So consider an on-the-court summit with the NBA superstar just another milestone on the way to her own preordained glory.

Ben Affleck Reveals His Acting Was So Bad In One Film, They Had To Dub Over Him

Ben Affleck is a blockbuster movie star, but he’s happy to acknowledge his performances haven’t always made the cut.

In an interview on SiriusXM radio Wednesday, the Oscar-winning screenwriter and actor admitted he was once voiced over in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” because the director, Fran Rubel Kuzui, disliked his performance so much.

While discussing Affleck’s new film “The Way Back,” in which he plays a basketball coach battling alcohol addiction, SiriusXM host Julia Cunningham asked the actor what it was like stepping into the role of a coach after playing a basketballer in the 1992 vampire movie.

“Apparently I’m so bad in that movie. I had one line, it was ‘Take it,’ I think. I’m holding a basketball, another basketball player turns into like a werewolf or whatever,” he said of his role as “Basketball Player #10.”

“And I think I say ‘take it, man,’ and I thought it was fine, and the director seemed happy. I went to the movie, didn’t get premiere tickets or anything … and I was like, ‘That is not my voice. That is not me.’”

“Apparently the director hated my performance so much that she looped the entire performance ― which was one line. But yes, I am dubbed. In English.”

While this early performance in his career didn’t quite hit the mark, Affleck went on to star in dozens of films, including the acclaimed “Good Will Hunting” and “Argo.”

Affleck recently discussed his new film, his mission to get his career back on track and his struggles with addiction in several interviews, drawing parallels between his own life and his latest role.

“The Way Back,” which hits cinemas this week, is a sports drama about a high school basketball star who returns to coaching while struggling with alcoholism.

CORRECTION: Due to an editorial error, a previous version of this article stated incorrectly that “Good Will Hunting” had won awards for best drama; rather, it won in best screenplay categories.

Kylie Jenner Defends Her ‘Cute Ass Feet’ After Fans Comment On Her Toes

As if the world could not get more wild, Kylie Jenner is out here defending her toes on Instagram because people have a lot to say about them.

On Tuesday, the 22-year-old reality star posted a series of saucy photos with her sister, model Kendall Jenner

Apparently, fans were zeroing in on Kylie’s toes in the comments because the lip kit mogul’s middle toe on her right foot appears to be a bit shorter than her other toes in the photos.

“OK, so everyone wants to come for my fucking toes. By the way, I have cute ass feet,” Kylie responded in an Instagram Story video of her feet on a plush carpet.

“And I broke this middle toe in middle school. There’s nothing you can do for a broken toe so I just had to let it heal how it wanted to heal,” she said.

In subsequent videos, she shows how the previously broken toe looks much smaller when she flexes her feet versus when it’s just flat on the floor.

Kylie then featured her sister’s toes in another slide, drawing fans’ attention to them by saying: “I’m sorry but wutttt.”

Toes aside, the mother of one didn’t seem to let it get to her and continued her Story with snapshots of her daughter, Stormi, and some swag sent to her from Ellen DeGeneres.

All the best to you and your tiny toe, Kylie.

Demi Lovato Says She Was ‘Controlled’ For Years, Couldn’t Even Eat Birthday Cake

Demi Lovato is finally having her cake and eating it too after years of dealing with a serious eating disorder.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the singer revealed that her former team “controlled” almost everything she ate, including denying her a real birthday cake for years, in a brave new interview about how body image issues led to her relapsing after six years of sobriety.

“I lived a life for the past six years that I felt wasn’t my own because I struggled really hard with an eating disorder, yes, and that was my primary problem and then it turned into other things,” the pop star explained, referring to the use of alcohol and drugs. “My life, I just felt it was so, and I hate to use this word, but I felt it was controlled by so many people around me.”

She added: “For many years, I didn’t even have a birthday cake. I had a watermelon cake, where you cut your watermelon into the shape of a cake and you put fat-free whipped cream on top and that was your cake.”

Lovato described how her former management team would check her Starbucks receipts, remove phones from hotel rooms to stop her from ordering room service and throw out fruit to decrease her sugar intake.

These restrictions made her feel “really, really unhappy” and ultimately resurfaced dangerous habits.

Last month, the Disney Channel alum got real about how her 2018 slip in sobriety followed by her drug overdose stemmed from a false sense of recovery from an eating disorder that’s plagued her for much of her career.

“My bulimia got really bad and I asked for help and I didn’t receive the help that I needed,” Lovato told DeGeneres this week. “So I was stuck in this unhappy position. Here I am sober and I’m thinking to myself, ‘I’m six years sober, but I’m miserable. I’m even more miserable than I was when I was drinking. Why am I sober?’”

Lovato said that when she opened up about her struggles to her team back then, instead of helping her, she felt like they abandoned her.

“That night I went to a party and there was other stuff there and it was only three months before I ended up in the hospital with an OD,” she said.

At the end of the day, the singer said the responsibility for her decision-making has to lie on her shoulders.

“It was my actions that put me in the position that I’m in,” she said. “I think it’s important that I sit here on this stage and tell you at home or you in the audience or you right here that if you do go through this, you yourself can get through it.”

After some time away from performing and a stint in rehab, Lovato is now working with a new manager, Scooter Braun, who encourages her to eat whatever makes her feel happy and healthy.

“This year when I turned 27 … my manager gave me the best birthday cake. I spent it with Ariana Grande, who is one of my good friends, and we just had the best birthday and I just remember crying because I was finally eating cake with a manager that didn’t need anything from me and that loved me for who I am and supported my journey.”

On the heels of major performances at the Grammy Awards and the Super Bowl this year, Lovato is set to release her new single “I Love Me” on Friday.

Sophie Turner On Why She ‘Hated’ Joe Jonas And The Jonas Brothers

Sophie Turner loves her husband Joe Jonas now, but there was a time when she absolutely despised the Jonas Brothers

The “Game of Thrones” actor opened up about why she and her friends used to hate the music group for Elle magazine’s April cover story. Apparently, it all came down to warring boy bands.

“My friends and I were not Jonas Brothers fans,” a laughing Turner told the magazine.

“There was this band in the U.K. called Busted. They had a hit called ‘Year 3000.’ It was amazing, and we were huge Busted fans,” the actor explained. “Then the Jonas Brothers covered the song and made it massive. And Busted broke up. We thought it was all the Jonas Brothers’ fault. So, we hated them.”

Turner harbored those hard feelings up until the first time she and Joe Jonas met, when she said she expected the musician to bring security with him and “be such a dick.”

Luckily, he just brought a friend and the group partied hard.

“I remember us two spending only a couple of minutes on the dance floor, and then we found a space in the far corner and we just talked,” she said. “We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I wasn’t bored. It wasn’t contrived, it wasn’t small talk ― it was just so easy. Soon, we were inseparable. And then I went on tour with him.”

The two were first linked together publicly in 2016 and announced their engagement in October 2017. They tied the knot in a Las Vegas chapel in May 2019, which you might’ve seen, as their friend Diplo live-streamed and “ruined” the private ceremony. Turner and Jonas had a second, more intimate wedding later that summer in France.

The actor said that so far she loves the security of married life and feels “really lucky” to be with her husband.

“With Joe, I always felt like I was the one who was punching, like, way above my league. And I still feel like that,” Turner said. “He’s so handsome, talented, funny, charismatic. I’m really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me.”

Turner and Jonas are reportedly expecting their first child together, though the couple hasn’t officially commented. JustJared was the first with the news, which was later noted by Us Weekly and E! News

Miley Cyrus, Chrissy Teigen Praise Nick Lachey’s ‘Love Is Blind’ Introduction

When you’re obviously Nick Lachey, you deserve a little teasing.

Miley Cyrus and Chrissy Teigen chatted on Instagram about what has been one of the most talked about moments of the new Netflix reality show, “Love Is Blind”: Nick Lachey’s self-introduction.

The weekly show, which premiered last month, follows singles as they try to find love without ever seeing each other and is ― inexplicably ― hosted by 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa. However, when the pair introduce themselves to the group on the show, Vanessa goes first and is followed by Nick who not so humbly says: “I’m obviously Nick Lachey, her husband.”

Considering the two hosts barely appear on the show, the moment has been widely discussed on Twitter and beyond and was even featured in Saturday Night Live’s cut-for-time short about the show.

When the SNL Instagram page, shared a screenshot about the short, they shared it with the caption: “She’s Vanessa Lachey. And he’s (𝗼𝗯𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆) Nick Lachey. And this is…”

Not missing a beat, Teigen responded to the post saying that she was “so happy someone else noticed” her “favorite part of the whole show.”

Cyrus replied to Teigen’s message saying that “obviously” she “fucking noticed.”

Lachey has not addressed the remark publicly, but the “Love Is Blind” reunion special airs this week so there’s a slight chance he’ll mention it then. We can only hope.

In the interim, you can binge “Love Is Blind” on Netflix now.

Britney Spears Shares Shocking Video: ‘You Can Hear Where I Broke My Foot Here’

Britney Spears’ latest Instagram video is painful to watch.

On Wednesday, the pop superstar shared a short clip of herself dancing to the Kings of Leon song “Sex on Fire” in a rehearsal studio.

At first glance, the video looks a lot like others she’s posted over the years ― that is, until the very end, when an audible snap is heard and she tumbles to the floor.

Turns out, the moment was more serious than it appears. According to Spears, the sound was her foot fracturing.

True to form, however, she laughed it off in the accompanying caption, noting, “Sorry it’s kind of loud!!!!!”

It’s unclear exactly where and when the video was shot. On Feb. 18, Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari shared a photo of himself with Spears in a hospital gown, apparently seeking treatment for the injury.

“Wishing her the best recovery so she can jump, run, and dance her butt off,” Asghari wrote.

Spears’ video had been viewed more than 5 million times as of Thursday morning, drawing comments and condolences from a host of celebrities.

“OMG BRIT,” Olympic skater Adam Rippon wrote. “I broke my foot the same way except with less hair whipping and more crying.”

Added actor Selma Blair: “You are adorable. And that is full on buzz kill. Recover well angel.”

Aside from injury, Spears has appeared in a sunny mood as of late. Though she kept a low profile for much of 2019 amid a series of personal and professional woes, her recent social media posts show her practicing yoga and enjoying a tropical beach vacation.
